And this is my trip to Paris! First time there and very excited to get to know France. Heard a lot about France, for a certain time I even can say it was the country that fascinated me most! Now let’s learn about it live! Originally we were supposed to stay there from March 11th till March 16th 2023, but due to the missed flight in London, we arrived here on March, 12th.

This was our hotel, Maison Pigalle. Good hotel with delicious breakfast, located in a typical old and renovated building in Paris. We walked to all the places from here.

And then we started walking… first stop, Eiffel Tower.

Facts about this avenue: “The Champs-Élysées is a famous Paris avenue, stretching 1.9 km from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe. Renowned for luxury shops, theaters, and cafés, it’s a hub for major events like the Bastille Day parade and Tour de France, symbolizing Parisian grandeur and culture.” ChatGPT

And then, a few steps further, I crossed the street, look to the right and…

Eiffel Tower, here we go!

BY the way, if you want to go up the tower, you should reserve tickets ahead of time. The lines are long and it is common that they are sold out for the day. Here the website where you can buy tickets ahead of time.

Facts about Jardins du Trocadéro: “The Jardins du Trocadéro in Paris, created for the 1937 World’s Fair, offers stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. Featuring the Fountain of Warsaw with 20 water cannons, it’s part of the Trocadéro complex, including the Palais de Chaillot, museums, and sculptures, commemorating the 1823 Battle of Trocadéro” ChatGPT.

But now let’s talk about the Eiffel Tower.
Facts: “The Eiffel Tower, completed in 1889 for the World’s Fair, stands 330 meters tall and was designed by Gustave Eiffel. Initially criticized, it’s now a global symbol of Paris. Made of iron, it attracts millions of visitors annually, offering panoramic views from its three levels, including restaurants and exhibitions” ChatGPT.

We were hungry and googled for a good restaurant near the Eiffel Tower and we found this jewel. Really great! Although… it is Italian. 😅

With our tummies full, we started walking again to Jardins du Trocadéro to enjoy the Eiffel Tower from the other side of the River.

Well, the streets of Paris where not so beautiful this time. Several strikes hit France during these weeks. The garbage was not being collected anymore as a way to out pressure on Macron and the result was shows in the news around the world…

After walking so much, we were tired and returned to the hotel.
