After a good breakfast at the hotel, we started walking again This time to the Louvre Museum!

Facts about the Louvre Museum: “The Louvre, originally a royal palace, is the world’s largest art museum, located in Paris. Opened in 1793, it houses over 35,000 works, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. Its glass pyramid entrance, designed by I.M. Pei, contrasts with its historic architecture, symbolizing art’s evolution” ChatGPT.
I also recommend to buy the tickets upfront and reserve your time window for visiting. The lines are very long. You can reserve your tickets here.

Fun fact about the Louvre: “If you were to spend just 30 seconds viewing each of the 35,000 artworks in the Louvre, it would take about 292 hours (or roughly 12 days of non-stop viewing**). This estimate doesn’t account for breaks, walking between exhibits, or additional time for larger works, so realistically, it could take much longer to see everything” ChatGPT.

Facts about Mona Lisa: “The Mona Lisa is one of the most famous paintings in the world, created by Leonardo da Vinci over 500 years ago. It’s displayed in the Louvre Museum in Paris and is known for the mysterious smile of the woman in the painting. People are fascinated by how realistic she looks and the mystery of who she really is. The painting became even more famous after it was stolen in 1911 and recovered two years later. Today, millions of people visit the Louvre every year just to see her, making it a must-see for art lovers and tourists alike” ChatGPT.

After the Louvre Musuem, what do you think we did again? We walked!

We googled and found this place near the Saint Chapelle. A typical French restaurant, with tables at the sidewalk, all we wanted to try!

After lunch, we kept walking through the streets of this beautiful city!

We stopped by Notre Dame to see this beauty and to see the renovation work being carried out due to the fire that happened in 2019.

Facts about Notre Dame: “Notre-Dame de Paris, completed in 1345, is a Gothic cathedral known for its stunning architecture, stained glass windows, and iconic gargoyles. Located on the Île de la Cité, it’s famous for hosting historic events. A 2019 fire severely damaged its roof and spire, sparking global efforts for restoration” ChatGPT.
And right next to the Notre Dame, we went to see the city hall of Paris, called Hôtel de Ville.

And after that, before returning to the hotel for a well deserved rest, we decided to enjoy the sunset along the river.

And now let’s please go back to the hotel, my legs are burning!
