Day 2: Super Hot Hiking Day!

We slept at the hotel (there were a few lodges arranged like a trailer park, actually). The view of Sedona was fantastic from the Rim where the Lodge is located!

Our hotel in the morning. That is our hotel’s name!
Sedona view. BEAUTIFUL!
Beautiful panorama

Look at the place for weddings at this Hotel! Look at the view! No wonder people do so much weddings here!

Chilling in the lounge chairs that are beautiful and wooden.
Prickly pear is a cactus fruit with a sweet, juicy interior, vibrant colors, and covered in spines.

Me chilling at the restaurant next to Sedona’s airport, which is located right across the street from the Sky Lodge. It has awesome food and great staff!!! It has a signature drink called prickly pear lemonade and it is so Buss!!!!!!

After a good breakfast, we hit the road for our first hike. Daddy wanted to see the seven sacred polls via Soldier Pass Trail.

It is very hard to find a parking spot in front of the beginning of the trail. The best way is to park 2 miles again and use Debbie Hiker Help transport service to bring you from the parking lot to the trail. She accepts Zelle and Venmo.

We finally arrived at the trails. Now time to start Hiking!
A deep sinkhole. Judging by the tree, it must have been there for some time.
Me posing in front of beautiful rock formations. By now, it must have been really hot.
We finally arrived at the pools! Here is where we would see the pools teeming with life!
A beautiful butterfly resting by the pool.

Beautiful rock formations. It has been even hotter by now.

Me posing in front of rock formations.
This was our hike: the seven sacred pools. It was 1.1 mile long, but it got nothin on our next hike.
The start of our 6 mile hike at Mescal Trailhead Parking lot! The scenery looks beautiful, we are going to a devil’s bridge!
Me posing by the sign. It looks like an instruction guide.
You can read that on ur own. Now, let’s go!
Our beautiful panorama scenery!
The other side of the lush scenery.
Final pic before we dipped!
The wooden directional board! Something you only see on trails.
We hiked a mile or 2
More of the beautiful scenery. That was when we were chillin.
Rock stacked on each other.
Devil’s Bridge! Me and my dad conquering our fears by going on the devil’s bridge! Terrifying but worth the 2 or 3 mile hike!
Devil’s bridge

We started going back. to the parking lot. Further three miles that are a pain in the buttcheeks, here we come!(I guess…)

Close up view of the rock formations.
Our final look at a beautiful scenery before heading back.
A beautiful look at the valley!
A mile or so later…….

We are steadily getting closer! The seemingly unidentified figures over there are…

After 2 hikes and temperatura of 93F-100F, we decided to check in our hotel and enjoy the pool. We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriot Sedona, I really recommend.
