Grand Teton: the unknown Gem like the Swiss Alps at the south entrance of Yellowstone

“Grand Teton National Park captivates with its towering peaks, pristine alpine lakes, and abundant wildlife. Hike through vibrant wildflower meadows, paddle serene waters, or gaze at stunning sunsets over the jagged Teton Range. A haven for adventure and serenity, it promises unforgettable moments amidst nature’s raw beauty and timeless grandeur.” From ChatGPT.

We spent there a bit more than half a day and one thing is clear, we want to come back and spent a whole week here… it is soooo beautiful. The lake, the mountains at the back, the animals, the park infrastructure.

At the entrance, this is the view.
Look at this place.
Imagine this place during winter
All the peaks here.

First stop, Leeks Marina & Pizzeria, a perfect place with a pier…

Relaxing
We had no time for a jump in the water, but next time…
Dessert at the pizzeria

And then we drove to Jackson Lake Lodge.

Viewpoint from trail
Beautiful lodge with an amazing view of the mountains

And we drove a bit further south, look what we saw…

Up to the Jackson Viewpoint next to Signal Mountain

And then a little bit further South to Mountain View Turnout

And our final spot of the day, at the lake and close to the mountains.

Not goodbye, rather a “see you soon Grand Teton”
Road on the way back
