Day 11: Hello Washington DC!!!!!

Hello everyone! Today we are going to Washington DC!!!! But before that, I still want to enjoy Virginia Beach a little bit more. We will see you at the end!

After waking up and eating some delicious 🤤 🧇 for breakfast at VA beach, I went to play in the beach!! It was short, but I wanted to enjoy the beach for the last time in this road trip. From today, we are just going to spend time in big cities!

Before leaving Virginia, we decide to visit Caoe Harry. It is now a military base, but this is the spot where the British Settlers on April, 29th, 1607 arrived in the Americas for the first time. The beach of Cape Harry is called the “First Landing Site”. After arriving here and spending 3 days here, the settlers put a cross on the street and moved to another more hospitable place, where they settled the city called Jamestown.

Here at Cape Harry, the the first landing happened, an old Lighthouse was built and a New lighthouse was built and still operates. The old lighthouse operated with Fish Oil, it is incredible! We went up to the top of the old Lighthouse, look at the pictures.
