Day 12: Exploring Reykjavik (last day)

Today in Reykjavik concluded an exciting road trip in Iceland. The day began with breakfast before renting scooters to explore the city. Highlights included Hallgrímskirkja Cathedral, colorful Frakkastígur street, and the Sun Voyager sculpture. They enjoyed coffee at Sandholt and dinner at Skál restaurant, celebrating the election of a new president.
Day 11: Hiking Fagradasfjall – A Volcano Adventure in Iceland

The trip concluded with a visit to Thingvellir National Park before returning to Reykjavik for typical Icelandic cuisine.
Day 9: Top Sights in Iceland – From Waterfalls to Black Sands (Southwest)

Today’s Icelandic adventure featured diverse weather and stunning outdoor sights. Highlights included the powerful Skógafoss Waterfall, the famous U.S. Navy plane wreck, the breathtaking Dyrhólaey Lighthouse, Reynisfjara beach with its unique rock formations, and the delicious stop at The Soup Company in Vík. A memorable 15Km journey.

On a day initially planned for a brief drive, a mother and son made an impromptu trip to see puffins in Northeast Iceland, braving cold weather. They enjoyed brunch at Café Hafnarhus, admired stunning views of fjords and mountains, and explored notable stops like Hvalnes Lighthouse before ending their day in HÖFN.
Day 5: Adventures in Iceland – From Breakfast to Waterfalls (Northeast)

The adventure in Iceland began with a lakeside breakfast, followed by visits to stunning locations like Dimmuborgir’s lava formations, Hverfjall volcano, and Grjótagjá cave. Highlights included the powerful Dettifoss waterfall and Canyon Stuðlagil, before reaching Borgarfjarðarhöfn, a puffin paradise, concluding the day with a delightful five-course dinner.
Day 4: Whale Watching and Relaxation in Myvatn (North)

Today, we traveled less with three short trips, starting from Akureyri to Goðafoss, followed by whale watching in Húsavík. We enjoyed a relaxing thermal bath in Mývatn and stayed overnight in a guesthouse by the lake and a dormant volcano, making for an exciting yet calming day filled with wildlife sightings.
Day 3: A Scenic Drive Through Iceland’s Breathtaking Landscapes (Northwest)

Today, we drove six hours from Stykkishólmur to Akureyri, with stops at Hvítserkur and Glaumbær Turfhouses. We enjoyed stunning views, dirt roads, and unique houses amid picturesque mountains. Lunch featured Icelandic hotdogs, and the day ended with a delightful dinner of codfish and wine in Akureyri.
Day 2: Exploring Iceland’s Snaefellsnes Peninsula (West)

The day was spent exploring Snaefellsnes Peninsula, featuring stunning black volcanic cliffs, multiple waterfalls, a volcano crater, lighthouses, and a shipwreck on a black sand beach. After a scenic journey, a delicious meal was enjoyed at a harbor restaurant, followed by a night at the transformed Hotel Franziskus in Stykkishólmur.
Day 1: Exploring the Blue Lagoon and Icelandic Cuisine
